Fried Sanddabs
Sand Dab
Fillets
Salt and pepper for seasoning fillets
Egg and a bit of milk, beaten together
Breadcrumbs, cracker crumbs or cornmeal
Oil for frying
Salt and
pepper fillets on both sides. Dip fillets in beaten egg. Roll
in breadcrumbs or cracker crumbs. Cornmeal or flour may be used
if desired. Place fish in heated pan with oil. Pan fry until browned
on both sides and fillets test done. Serve immediately.
