Fresh Clam Fritters Recipe

Fresh Clam Fritters
Fresh clam fritters with chopped chives.
Ingredients
1 dozen medium-sized clams, shucked and chopped Salt Pepper Nutmet2 teaspoons chopped chives1 tablespoon all purpose flour1 tablespoon fresh bread crumbs1 large egg, beaten1 teaspoon baking powder Oil for deep fat frying
Instructions
Heat oil for frying to 375 degrees.Mix the clams, seasoning to taste, chives, flour, bread crumbs, egg, and baking powder together.Drop by spoonfuls into the hot oil, and fry until golden brown. Transfer to absorbent paper toweling. Repeat with remaining fritters. Serve immediately.
