Crispy Tempura Batter Recipe

Use this tempura recipe for vegetables, too.

Ingredients

3/4 cup sweet rice flour1/2 cup all purpose flour1 teaspoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon saltPinch white pepper1 egg white2/3 to 3/4 cup ice cold water

Instructions

Beat egg white to break it up.Add the egg white with 2/3 cup ice cold water, then add to the dry ingredients.If the mix is too thick, add in additional cold water, about a tablespoon at a time until it reaches the desired consistency.
