Identifying Characteristics:
Small mouth, elongate body. Dorsal and anal fins are long with soft rays in both fins. Color is yellow to yellow-brown to brown on backs with white on bellies. Striped fins in yellow to blue.
Range and Locations:
Vancouver Island to Peru, in depths of around 30 to 300 ft. They grow to 40 inches.
