Identifying Characteristics:
Body is relatively shallow. Flat sided. Highly forked tail.
Range and Locations:
Eastern Atlantic species. Range from Brazil to Massachusetts.
Stats:
Reports by commercial fisherman thought to be this species up to 30 pounds.
Market Forms:

Fresh and frozen fillets. Flesh rich, firm.
