Identifying Characteristics:
Both eyes on either side of the fish (not just on the left side) with lots of teeth. Side with the eyes dark brown to blackish with white coloring on the blind side.
Range and Locations:
Northern Washington state to Southern Baja California. Found on sandy bottoms
Stats:
Can grow to 5 feet, up to 72 lbs.
Market Forms:

Fresh, frozen in fillets and steaks.
