Catalina blue perch, half moon perch (shape of tail fin)
Identifying Characteristics:
Unique tail fin shape, steel- or slate-blue to blue backs with silver to gray bellies.
Range and Locations:
Vancouver Island to Gulf of California.
Stats:
Adults can reach to almost 20 inches although they mature at around 7.
Market Forms:

Fresh, popular with sport fishing boats.

Closing Remarks:
